Demir Mechanical: a local SEO website for a GTA plumbing contractor

Demir Mechanical & Construction is a plumbing and mechanical contractor in Thornhill that serves homeowners, businesses and property managers across the GTA, from emergency repairs to riser renovations in multi-unit buildings. I built their 33-page website around the way people search for a plumber: by service and by city.

One page for every service and every city

People search for a plumber by problem and by place, so the site has a page for each: eight service pages, from drain cleaning and water heaters to sewer repair and riser renovation, and 18 city pages from Toronto, Scarborough and Etobicoke to Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, Oakville and Ajax. Each city page has its own introduction, the neighbourhoods it covers and local questions, and links to every service and to nearby areas. A 20-question FAQ page answers what people ask before they call.

Every page has a unique title, description and canonical address, plus structured data for the business, its services, breadcrumbs and FAQs. It is the same structure I use in SEO and AI search work.

A call button on every screen

A plumbing emergency is a phone call, not a form. The number sits in the header, in an emergency band and in a sticky Call Now and Free Quote bar on phones. The home page pairs the headline with a short service request form, and tiles under it go straight to emergency repair, drain cleaning, water heaters and sewer repair.

Lean, fast and easy to keep consistent

The site is static HTML with one stylesheet and a small script per page, generated by a Python build script so shared sections stay identical across all 33 pages. Photos are WebP with descriptive alt text, quote requests go to the site’s own mailer with spam protection, and the email address is assembled in the browser so it never sits in the page source for scrapers.
