Glass Railing Store: growing a Shopify store across Canada and the US

Glass Railing Store sells glass railing panels and hardware online at wholesale prices, to DIYers and contractors in Canada and the United States. Since 2026 I have led its marketing, together with RF Transparent, a glass railing brand that sells to businesses: search, ads, content and the AI tools behind them, all tied to Shopify orders.

The store

Glass Railing Store runs on Shopify. Buyers choose glass panels by height and size, add spigots and hardware, and order online, or ask for a quote for a bigger project. Every channel I run sends people here, so the store is where marketing is measured.

The 2027 redesign

I also designed and built a new Shopify theme for the store, around the way people buy railings: by height and width, by finish and by where they live. It has 70 new page sections, English everywhere, French in Canada and Spanish in the United States, a dark mode, filters on the collection pages, product pages with the price and stock of every width, and 391 page templates, most of them for the provinces, states and cities the store serves. It is finished as a draft and not live yet. The window at the top of this page opens a copy of it, with the store’s own photos; the slider above compares it with the store today.

What I run

Two brands with different buyers share one marketing team. I set the plan, the budget and the targets for both.

AI systems I built for the team

Part of the growth came from removing manual work. I built these with AI automation:

  • An AI sales and quoting workspace for photos, store details, ad results and answers.
  • An automated order-transfer workflow between the Ontario and Quebec stores.
  • AI analytics that join Shopify, Google Ads, Meta and Google Analytics 4 in one view.
  • A lead pipeline that sends every Meta lead to the right salesperson in minutes.

What changed

In the first nine months of 2026, US sales grew year over year with organic and paid work together, and within eight months both brands became the two most visible glass railing companies in Canada in organic Google search. The full figures are on my About page.
